Highwall Mobile
The Highwall Mobile Handheld is a software solution designed for the Pocket PC, that offers security and location tools in a single application that IT and security professionals can take with them anywhere. At the heart of the solution is the ability to locate a specific device in order to take immediate action on preventing intrusions and unauthorized activity.
Currently, Highwall Mobile can support only 802.11b and not 802.11a or 802.11g. This is because current Pocket PC hardware devices have only 16-bit bus architectures, while 802.11a/g cards need 32-bit bus architectures to support their higher throughputs (up to 54 M bps versus 11Mbps for 802.11b).
Location
The Location Tool can lock on to a particular Access Point or station and guide the user to the physical location of the device, allowing IT to physically track down Rogue Access Points and non-complying devices. The Location Tool can also be used to align signals between antennas to quickly optimize reception in line-of-sight bridging
