Bluetooth Detection

The results of four years of research at a leading University resulted in a 3rd-generation Bluetooth radio detection system, increasing accuracy by a factor of ten over previous models. The R&D started after conducting trials with TfL for Pollution and Bluetooth Journey Time. Capable of detecting Cars, Phones, Headphones and all Bluetooth and WIFI signals passively

The Bluetooth M3 utilises three radios to collect multiple types of Bluetooth signals, which are then collated into Identity Information and Signal Information. This is collated into an XML feed on the device, which can be either forwarded to a UTMC server or collected from the XML Server in real-time. A server component is available to collect information from multiple devices and store it in an SQL server, as well as generate a live journey time XML feed. This information can then be passed to local or external filtering to achieve accurate Journey Time figures.

Multi Radio Bluetooth

The BT Series of Bluetooth and WiFi vehicle and pedestrian trackers feature a multi-radio configuration allowing for almost 10 times more detected devices than conventional Bluetooth and WiFi detectors and can pass data to nearly any data analyser or interface, as well as its own cloud or server-based web interface.

The BT Range is designed to detect the maximum amount of Bluetooth signals possible using its advanced radio system.
