AI Bullet 4K Motorised Zoom
The flexible flagship of the bullet range. 4K at 50 fps, a 4× motorised zoom (2.8–12 mm), F1.2 P-Iris, a 1/1.8″ back-illuminated sensor, and the longest IR reach in the bullet range — 70 m smart 850 nm. Every premium capability on one chassis: low light, long reach, motorised zoom, motion freeze, and the full on-camera AI event set. Where the CA-1010 specialises in colour deeper into the dark, the CA-1060 reaches further into the dark — and covers more scenes via zoom.
When one install needs to cover every scenario.
Most cameras specialise. A fixed-lens 4K does colour low-light excellently within its field of view. A motorised-zoom camera adapts to changing scene scale. An ANPR specialist captures plates at speed. Each is optimised for its job; each gives something up in the trade.
The CA-1060 carries every capability on a single chassis. 4K resolution across the zoom range. 4× motorised zoom from wide overview to plate-readable detail. 70 m of smart IR — the longest in the bullet range — for fully dark scenes. 50 fps for motion freeze in mixed conditions. 0.001 lux at F1.2 colour for lit urban-night work. Pair that with the full on-camera AI event set and you have a single camera that handles wide-area overview, zoom-to-detail investigation, day-and-night reach, and the comprehensive classification workflow downstream.
For pure colour-at-night, the CA-1010 holds colour deeper into the dark via its NightChroma processing — at the cost of a fixed lens and 40 m IR. The CA-1060 takes a different trade: a slightly higher colour-mode threshold in exchange for motorised zoom, 70 m IR, and 50 fps.
Every premium spec on one chassis.
4K at 50 fps PAL across the full zoom range. 2.8–12 mm 4× motorised zoom with F1.2 P-Iris. 70 m smart IR — the longest in the bullet range. 1/1.8″ back-illuminated CMOS for low-light sensitivity. 120 dB WDR. Full on-camera AI event set. Multi-tail cable carries Ethernet, DC, alarm I/O, audio I/O and speaker bus. PoE 802.3at. NDAA-eligible.

What the hardware does.
4K resolution at every focal length
4K (3840 × 2160) at 50 fps PAL across the full zoom range. The 1/1.8″ back-illuminated sensor with F1.2 aperture has more light-gathering area than any other camera in the bullet range — necessary at the narrow end of the zoom where the lens is concentrating onto a smaller scene. The result: the AI gets clean, properly exposed 4K frames whether the camera is set wide for a 5-lane overview or zoomed in for plate-readable detail.
P-Iris adjusts the aperture mechanically as zoom changes — the AI classifier never sees a step change in image conditions.
Two operating modes: colour day, IR night
The camera has two distinct operating modes — not one continuous spec.
Colour mode operates above approximately 0.001 lux ambient at F1.2. The IR cut filter is engaged; the sensor receives only visible light; the image is full colour 4K. This covers daylight, dusk, lit urban streets and lit indoor spaces.
IR mode engages below the colour threshold. The IR cut filter swings out, the 70 m 850 nm smart IR illuminator fires, and the image switches to monochrome. The CA-1060's 70 m reach is the longest in the bullet range — sufficient for an unlit motorway approach, a long industrial yard, or a high-mast install where shorter-range cameras run out of light.
You can't have a colour image at 0 lux — once IR engages the image is mono. That's a CMOS-sensor constraint, not a CA-1060 limitation. Smart IR adjusts intensity with zoom; 850 nm is invisible to drivers and pedestrians.
50 fps holds detail at speed
Twice the standard 25 fps PAL frame rate. Fast-moving vehicles, sports events, gated industrial access — anywhere a 25 fps camera would smear, the CA-1060 keeps detail. Useful where the scene needs both 4K resolution and motion freezing, where one or the other would normally have to give way.
Combined with the F1.2 aperture, the camera can drop the shutter speed to freeze motion without losing exposure. For dedicated motorway-speed ANPR, the CA-1050 at 90 fps is the specialist; the CA-1060 covers everything below that with motion-freeze in mixed scenes.
Three ways to deploy this camera.
The CA-1060 supports all three deployment modes. Mode A is straight 4K capture. Mode B uses the full on-camera AI event set for low-bandwidth alerting. Mode C feeds the full 4K stream into a NOW Wireless AI box for the heaviest classifiers — DVLA cross-reference, plate enrolment, journey-time pipelines.
Capture & stream
Camera publishes the live 4K stream at the current zoom level. Local storage on microSD, central NVR, roadside cabinet or cloud. No AI inference at the camera — pure capture and stream.
Smart events → SenseView
The camera runs vehicle, person and cyclist detection on-board. Line cross, region entry / exit, loitering, object-left / removed and tamper alerts publish to SenseView over standard event channels at a small fraction of full-video bandwidth.
Video → AI box → SenseView
Full 4K stream to an Nvidia-based AI box in the roadside cabinet, control room or cloud. The AI box runs the heavy classifiers — DVLA cross-reference, plate enrolment, journey-time — and feeds SenseView. Full feature set available.
What the AI platform adds.
The camera delivers clean 4K video across day and night conditions. SenseView turns that stream into classified, queryable, evidential data — running at the edge on a NOW Wireless AI box, or centrally on the SenseView server. The CA-1060 is built to feed these workflows.
